It is a limestone cave about six tenths of a mile in length.
It is a very active cave and provides formations of all types and shapes.
The formations are made of ‘Ocala’ limestone, growing slowly over thousands of years.
For the taller individuals visiting, there are two low spots in the cave (two feet wide by four feet high), but they are only a few feet long.
The deepest part of the cave is 60 feet below the surface.
The entrance to the cave is 33 steps down, while the exit is an inclined plane.
